Simon is a bit of a religious nut, with a history of defiance and a self centered way of thinkiing.

His sharp tooth grin doesn't match his slowish soft speech and (ususally) calm attitude.
Despite his down to earth demeanor, Simon is most know for the times he loses his cool, and acts on impluses.

These impulsive acts include but are not limited too, unhinged gigglefits, jumping head first into ideas before thinking, or simply staring down other floxians without a word or reason.

According to Simon, he doesn't have as much control over himself as he'd like. This makes it hard for him to make friends, or find connections.

During his human life, Simon was the son of a priest of the church of Phengo. His time with his family during his childhood mostly included religious schoolings, and heavy restrictions on what he was allowed to do and who he was allowed to be around.

His father was held to a high and mighty status by the church, but once home was an aggressive man with a tendency to lash out as his family.

Once resurrected on Flox after the fall of the Earth, Simon would open the Church of Inky where he would himself become a preacher of the magic of Nycto and its connections to one of the missing angels, Inky.

Much to Blu's dismay, Simon would not heed his warnings of the dangers of searching for Skybox. Eventually Simon came in contact with Inky's right hand man, Starshot, who would allow Simon entry to skybox in search for Inky himself.

Simon's search for the missing angel would become a catastrophic failure, as he failed to foresee Inky's aggression towards floxians and would be gravely injured by the lost angel himself.
If not for Blu stepping in and saving Simon from Skybox, Simon would not have made it due to Skybox being outside the respawn perimeters.

Currently Simon works as Blu's secretary, in an attempt to better himself and work past his previous mistakes.

He's still recovering from his mishap with the lost angel, now under Blu's wing.

Blu is working with Simon to teach him better behavoirs. While he still has his strange nature and selfish attitude, Blu considers the progress he made and the efforts he's taken to be enough for him to be trusted.

Blu

While Simon is working for Blu, the two have made good friends.

Blu likes teaching Simon valuable lessons about light magic, and the proper ways to use it. In turn Simon helps Blu by taking on some of his workload, giving the angel more time to relax and socialize.

Blu is also helping Simon build better bonds and reputation.

Pon

Simon and Pon are good friends, since even before Simon became Blu's secretary.

Pon would attend the church of Inky (mostly just to visit Simon), and Simon would often meet Pon at the night market to hang out and chat together.

Nowadays Pon prefers to visit Simon in E.D.E.N, and bring his friend the occasional boquette of flowers for his bedside table.
